I can't delete an old blog because I don't have old email address
-
Hi there. I have a VERY old blog: https://secretlanguage.wordpress.com/about/
I would like to delete it but i created it so long ago, I think I de-activated the email address I set up for it. Right now I have a work email and a mac.com email. I can’t get in and I really want to delete this blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
If you have the password, you should be able to access the site without an active email address. Lacking both the password and the email address can set up a kind of double catch 22, as follows:
1. You need the WordPress.com account email address to be active in order to use the reset password process. But you don’t have access to the account email address, and you believe the email account has been deactivated.
2. If you could change the email address, then you could have the new password sent to the new email address. However, you need access to the account in order to change the change the email address, and you don’t have access if you don’t remember the password.See the Account Recovery support page. I think your best bet given the lack of the password and the account email address would be to use the Account Recovery Form. You might not have the required proof of ownership mentioned in the support page, but at least this will get the ball rolling, bringing your case to the attention of staff, or whoever handles the account recovery process. Perhaps you will have some other form of proof that will allow WordPress to grant you access to the site.
