  hi .I can’t find my blog. My husband managed it for me. Then he died. Please help me find it.
  When i try to log into http://thesouthpole.co.za/wp-login.php it is not there. It says ‘run time error’. When I try the alternative, it also doesn’t work: freshstart.thesouthpole.co.za
  Please help me find my blog! I think it was called Journey to the Frozen Continent’. It started in Nov/Dec 2011

  I’m sorry for your loss.

  While we have a process for cases like this, it isn’t applicable for this particular site because it isn’t hosted by us. To clarify, there are two versions of WordPress. A managed WordPress.com site, which we host, and a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which refers to WordPress sites hosted by other companies.

  Looking at the details of the domain thesouthpole.co.za, I see that it’s currently pointed to GoDaddy nameservers. GoDaddy is a different hosting company. It’s possible the site no longer shows up because the hosting service expired.

  I’d suggest contacting GoDaddy support and explaining the situation to them. They may have a backup that they can help you with. You can get the site back up with them or move it to WordPress.com if you want.
