I can't get past my log in

I have decided not to continue with my WinnieToons blog, which is hosted by GoDaddy. I’d originally been told by a GoDaddy representative that their tech people could help me download and save the content on my blog–both images and text. As it turns out, they do NOT offer that service, and were very misleading in our conversations. I have no, about one week before that blog goes dark. I have forgotten my log in and password. But whenever I enter my email address to retrieve/change that information, no messages are sent, or somehow the messages never arrive. I am vision impaired, and I’d prefer to have help via a telephone support line. I’m not completely blind, but its very difficult for me to do this sort of thing without somone on the other end of the phone walking me through the process. I need to clear this up as soon as possible, as time is running out.

You’ve reached the WordPress.com support forum. There is no telephone support here so I have added the modlook tag to ask a member of staff to redact your phone number. If your site is using the WordPress.org software you can get advice on resetting your password at: https://wordpress.org/support/
PS: You could export your content to a WordPress.com site here before your other site is closed for good. -

As @themagicrobot said above, we don’t offer phone support, and your site is also not hosted with us on WordPress.com, so we cannot help with this.
If you’re not receiving the password reset emails from your site, you’ll need to use one of the other methods described in the documentation for the WordPress software you’re using:

The only people who can help you with this is GoDaddy support, as only they have access to your hosting account and your site’s files on their servers.
