I can’t log in to my account

    I have had this account for close to 30 years, and suddenly I can’t log in. What do I have to do to get in to my wordpress account? my e-mail address is (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Hi Steve,

    We’re limited in how we can help because your host (Bluehost) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform which functions differently than the custom version we offer here on WordPress.com.

    Because of this we don’t have access to your server files, or the ability to take a closer look at your site.

    However, the good news is that as long as you have access to the server control panel through Bluehost, it is always possible to regain access to your self-hosted WordPress site.     You can ask Bluehost support for direct assistance in completing the steps in that article; they would be in the best position to help.
