I can’t see the menu bar at the top of my home page..

Hi – I am in the process of designing my own website (a complete novice) using HostGator for my domain name and using WordPress as the hosting site. I have followed a very helpful Vid by Tyler Moor but even though I followed the steps to create the menu bar it does not appear at the top of the home page. Can you help please.

Hi there, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. These forums are for those hosted here at WordPress.com.
For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help from the theme author directly or ask in the volunteer-based WordPress.org forums.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are separate, so if you do not already have an account at WordPress.org, you will need to register.

This support document from WordPress.org should help you with your menu: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide although there are some themes that do not support a top menu. You can check your theme’s documentation to see if it does.
