Why can’t I write a new post? When I click on text, nothing happens.

Same issue here. All the buttons (as well as the “inspire me” link are dead. Nothing happens. Worked fine until yesterday.

Running OS X 10.8.4. I had Apple Care take me through making sure Java/Javascript was OK. They did a bunch of other things too. They could replicate the error on their computers. The same error happens for me in Safari and Firefox.
Thanks very much. Any/all suggestions appreciated but I am in no way a progrtammer so if I have to start changing scripts, I REALLY need my hand held!

If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.If you are, please do these:
(1) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html(2) Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled and JavaScript enabled

(3) Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

I have gone through those four steps.
Still no luck.
Most odd is that I have the same problem regardless of browser (I prefer to use Safari 6, but Firefox same drama). -

Happy to upgrade/downgrade as needed. Would prefer to work in Safari but at this point if somebody sent me to Netscape Navigator, I’d say, Ok :)

Somehow it works again. I never changed anything. Wasn’t working an hour ago.

elliebelfiglio – are you still having this problem? When you say you “click on text” could you explain in more detail what you mean?
Are you trying to type into the editor window but nothing happens?
Does this happen in a different browser, like Firefox or Chrome?
