I changed my blog url and now my website is not working?

How do I fix this? I have been trying to change my blog url and followed instructions. Now I have lost my website. This is urgent for me. Thank you.

Hmmm thank you and a good question. Yes it does work with kiwidownunderfarm.wordpress.com but how do I go about getting my domain names kiwidownunderfarm.com and kiwidownunderfarm.com.au to work again? When I google my website comes up under the old url and says it isn’t there.

Hi there,
I see that you have active domain upgrades for those domains, but the domains themselves aren’t pointed to WordPress.com. That’s why your site doesn’t show up when you visit those domains.
You’ll need to make sure the domains are pointed to WordPress.com’s name servers:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
If you’re not sure how to do that, your domain registrar can help with that step. We also have a guide for mapping your domain to WordPress.com here: Map an Existing Domain
Once your domains are pointed to the WordPress.com name servers and the changes have taken effect everywhere, you’ll be able to see your blog when you visit those domains.

I have done this Rachel and am waiting to see if it gets updated. In the meantime on my Dashboard I have two Kiwi Down Under Farm wordpress dashboards. One has my website on it, the other is a new one with no information on it so far. I am concerned I am going to lose my website and have to start again. By changing my blog address have I lost my website information? How to you transfer over? Thank you for your help.

Don’t worry, you won’t lose your website! We link all of your site’s content to a free WordPress.com address so that even if you add, change, or remove a custom domain (like the ones you own) you won’t lose any of your site’s content.
Right now, you have two sites set up at these free WordPress.com addresses:
Both of those sites have the same site title (“Kiwi Down Under Organic Farm”) which is why they are listed the same on your My Sites page. If you go to the dashboard for your site at the WordPress.com address bonvillebedandbreakfast.wordpress.com, you can head to Settings > General to give it a new site title.
Your site at the WordPress.com address kiwidownunderfarm.wordpress.com is the one with all of your content, and that’s the one your custom domains are linked to. Once the change you made to those domain settings takes effect everywhere, you’ll be able to see all of your site content there.
