I changed my email and can’t access my site

Hey – I changed my email address for this account but can no longer see the site in my dashboard. I have verified the change with the link but it’s saying it’s linked to another account.

I changed my username and my email address and it’s no longer giving me access to the site on my dash and when I try to login it recognises the credentials have changed.

Is it possible you created your site under a different login? I can confirm that austentatiousdarling.wordpress.com is registered at WordPress.com but is under a different account and not your @dxrcywilde login.

I know the old login should be @darcyellenrae but I changed the username and this account is still showing that I joined in March 2018.
When I tried to login with the @darcyellenrae username it wouldn’t let me.
From my end all I did was change the username and the email address. I can’t apply for account recovery as I don’t have information to prove it’s me as the account was created so long ago now.

Absolutely not. I know the old login was @darcyellenrae but I’ve tried logging in with this and it wouldn’t let me. And like I said I changed the email address and the username. The account is still showing that I joined in March 2018 which is correct.
I can’t even go through with account recovery as I have no way to prove it’s me as the account was created so long ago.

@darcyellenrae is the old username of the account you’re currently logged in to (@dxrcywilde). That old username can no longer be re-used.
As for the site austentatiousdarling.wordpress.com, it is owned by a different account associated with a different email address. So, if you want to regain access to it, you can use the password reset tool (linked below) and enter any email address that you have access to. Hopefully, you’ll find the one that matches the account and you’ll be able to recover access to it.
