I changed the name of the blog yet it still shows up…

  My original blog was dougsboomerblog and I opted to change the name after I read documentation and decided to adopt a different format and approach. The new blog is BoomerRants. Rather than totally discard the settings I had already made in the first blog I did some import/export thing to create the second blog. Obviously that newly created second blog brought over some of the first blog’s login, etc. The main issue I have is that I have attempted to upload a gravatar but it doesn’t display in the second blog.. and I suspect that it was saved in a first blog link. When I attempted to do a change in the blog name through the profile it refused saying the name was taken.. which is correct… but taken by me. So.. how do I go about removing all reference links to the first blog name and point everything to the new blog name?

  It appears you’ve created an additional blog. You can manage your blogs at the My Blogs page in your dashboard.

  It won’t be possible to change your blog’s address at this point (since you’ve already registered the new name). So, if you need to move content over, you’ll need to follow this guide:

  If you’d like to change the website that’s linked when you leave a comment, you can do so at Users -> Personal Settings.

  Finally, you might consider using the Site Redirect upgrade if you’d like to redirect any visitors who visit your first site to your new one.
