i could not update wp automatically how to update wp manually

    I want to update wp manually but i have no clue how to use filezilla and what should i put on the empty box for host to get all my files and folders from my directory. I am not the one who create the website but i just help a friend to maintain the website. Another thing is i tried to upload pdf to the media before and it was successful but now i could not upload pdf at all even though the file is just 432kb. Please help… T T

    You don’t need to update on the wordpress.com platform. So it seems you are talking about a site using the free version of wordpress.org. their support is at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
