I created this account ages ago. I get an email that a website has been created

    The website had a spam link which directed me to some dating site. I immediately regained access to this account and would delete the webpage. Why did this happen? I didn’t even create a website on wordpress before

    It sounds like someone used your email address to create a site. Double down on your online security – make sure your passwords are strong and unique for every account. Enable 2 factor authentication on online accounts that offer the feature.
