I deleted all widgets in main sidebar but they are still showing- why?

  I deleted all widgets in the main sidebar, but Search, Meta, and Admin are still appearing. Why?

  Those are your Default widgets. They appear when no other widgets are set. If you add a widget they’ll disappear.

  If you want a completely blank sidebar, just add a blank Text widget to your widgets area.
