I deleted my domain but it says it’s taken

The domain i deleted is mallowsmelt.shop, for some reason – even though it’s deleted – it shows up as being taken. I deleted it yesterday, is there a reason why its still active? If so, how do I fix it?

Why would you go to the trouble of buying a domain and then immediately delete it? If you had changed your mind it would have been better to cancel the domain and ask for a refund (which you could do yourself via your dashboard).
If you actually still intended to use the domain elsewhere all you needed to do was keep ownership of it here and point the domain to another site at another host. As it is, if the domain was correctly cancelled within the refund window it should become available to register elsewhere in a few days.

Hi there! Do you still need help with this? I confirmed that the domain was canceled already. Once a domain goes into a cancellation process it can take some time for it to be available to register again.
