I deleted my domain, how can I use it with another provider

    Hi. I had with you the domain ambiespanol.com and I deleted it. I would like to use it with another provider but it appears that it is parked. Is there a way to free this domain so I can use it with my other provider? Thanks.

    Hi there!

    Due to how domains work, you can’t register a domain elsewhere after canceling it with one registrar. You will need to wait for the domain to expire and go through the lengthy and risky expiration process before the domain is potentially available for registration elsewhere. I say ‘potentially’ because if there are backorders on your domain, you may not be the first person to register the domain when it does become available.

    You should never cancel a domain that you wish to keep using (even if you want to use it elsewhere). Fortunately, we can still restore the domain for you so that you can transfer it to another registrar. Please let us know as soon as possible if you’d like us to restore it and we can do it for you.     Note that domains enter the redemption period shortly after it’s canceled. If it does, there’s an $80 redemption fee that we can’t waive. So please let us know if you’d like to restore the domain as soon as possible.
