I deleted previous site but I’d like to use same domain name

    Hello I have just deleted my pervious version because I would like to start over but I cannot use same domain name as I expected.

    I would like my new site to name ‘nctunionth.wordpress.com’ as it used to be, please help.

    Hi there,

    If you want to start over on your site with the same site address, you should not delete the site. Deleting the site does not free the site for reuse, but rather purges it so that neither the owner or anyone else can ever use it again. This can be reversed within 30 days of the site’s deletion, but after that time, there is no way to get the site back.

    Please confirm that it is the site nctunionth.wordpress.com that you are wanting to reuse, and I’ll restore it for you.

    If you want to clear your site of content, our support page can assist you in this process.
    If you have tons of content on your blog, we can do it for you, but you can accomplish clearing your site fairly easily with bulk actions whenever you’re ready.

    Hi there,

    I was able to successfully restore your deleted blog. Please note that this is usually not possible, and there are many clear warnings throughout the deletion process.

    Be very careful with that delete button in the future! :)

    Thank you for your kind help.
    Could you please tell me where I can find the deleted site that you have just restored? I cannot seem to find it on dashboard/menu.

    Or else, is it possible to restore/reuse only the site address?

    After accident deletion of [nctunionth.wordpress.com], I created a new site using [thainctunion.wordpress.com] address and already wrote some pages and posts that I’d like to keep. I tried to change the site address to [nctunionth] by myself but that address is taken (by the site I deleted, I think).

    Could you possibly change the site address of my current site from [thainctunion.wordpress.com] to [nctunionth.wordpress.com] ?

    I can see nctunionth.wordpress.com in your account.

    Click on My Sites in the top-right of the screen, and click on Switch Site, and you should see both your sites listed there.

    Could you possibly change the site address of my current site from [thainctunion.wordpress.com] to [nctunionth.wordpress.com]

    It is not possible to change the address of a site to an address that has already been created before. Those are two different sites, that both already exist and that both belong to your account.

    If you already have content on thainctunion.wordpress.com that you instead want to have on the other site, you can move it by exporting and import it to the correct site:
