I did not receive a verification email

I purchased a domain name on Monday and I have not received a verification email. I wanted a new blog and when I type in the new blog it sends me to my existing blog. How do I separate the two?
Thanks in advance for your help.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

Right now, your domain name latashakenley.com is linked to your site with the underlying WordPress.com address kcmmarketing.wordpress.com.

You can transfer that domain upgrade to another blog you own from your My Upgrades page. On that page, you can click the cog icon next to your domain and then click on “Transfer to another site” to move the domain to a different blog.

If you haven’t created the new blog yet, you can log in to your account and head to the signup page to set that up first:

    https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/

If you’d like any help moving that domain to the correct blog, or if you have any other questions, please let me know!

Thank you for your response, it looks like when I follow your instructions I am replacing/transferring the new blog to another. I need the domain latashakenley.com to live on its own. Did I do something wrong in setting this up?
I do not need latashakenley.com to direct people to my kcmmarketing.com site.
I feel technology challenged right now!
    Thanks in advance
    LaTasha

    Hi LaTasha,

Sorry for the confusion! You purchased a new domain name latashakenley.com, but buying a domain name like that doesn’t automatically create a new blog. It just creates a new name that you can use with one of your existing blogs. Right now, that means latashakenley.com is linked to your kcmmarketing.com site.

If you want a new blog to go with your domain latashakenley.com, you’ll need to log in to your account and create that new blog here:

    https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/

(As long as you’re logged in to your WordPress.com account when you visit that link, you can create a new blog without creating a new account.)

Once that blog is created, you can move the domain latashakenley.com so it takes people to that blog instead of your kcmmarketing.com site. (If you’d like, I can help you with that step — just let me know once the new blog is created.)
