I do not want to transfer my domain – I just want to use WordPress to edit my site

    My site is hosted at Hostmonster. Having a lot of trouble with my Web editor and want to switch to Hostmonster. I was thinking I’d transfer my domain, but don’t want to wait 7 days. So… I can use WordPress from within Hostmonster or I can buy it outside Hostmonster. I have questions and would like to talk to someone.

    WordPress.org is free software that you can install, modify, and manage on your own. While I can’t speak for Hostmonster, most hosts support it.

    WordPress.com is a hosting service that manages the installation for you.

    Regarding domain transfers, if you don’t want to wait so long for changes, have you considered changing your domain settings instead? You can transfer later, too.
