I don’t have the a login details for a website.

  I am at a bit of a loose end at the moment. We have a domain that is in the process of being built using WP but unfortunately the person who was responsible for this has left the company and I have no idea what the username or password is. I don’t have a transaction id or the activation link as I have no idea when it was purchased or whether it was a company generic email that was used. What I do have is proof of domain ownership. Is that enough? If not what else can I do?

  First, can you clarify if the site you are building is a WordPress.com site? Or is it a site built using the open-source WordPress software available at WordPress.org?
