    I just need to show someone my screen shot. I don’t have a good feeling about it. I noticed it at the bottom of my front page on my site and I want to know how to get rid of it.

    If you mean the Cookie and Consent Banner that is present on every free WPcom website, it’s not possible to remove it and you can learn more about it in this support guide: https://wordpress.com/support/cookie-widget/

    Let us know if you meant something else and on which WPcom website it appears.

    If by chance you need help with your WP site hosted at Hostgater, please contact their support directly. If they say this is a WordPress problem, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
