Some themes display dates and times on Posts and some don’t. If the theme is not coded to display the data you want then you can switch to another theme. Pages and Posts are not the same. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ Posts have tonnes of Google juice and Pages have very little. You are creating a Page based structure and very few themes have dates on Pages. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/02/18/date-on-static-pages/
