I followed too many people by accident

Hi , I thought I had to follow people in order to read all their blogs, I understand now I dont have to do that ( I’ve only started blogging), and I think wordpress might think I’m a bot or something, because I was reading the forum and I have the exact same problem . I’m not a bot , could you unblock my site ? Thanks!

Your account is not currently being blocked from following sites on WordPress.com.
If you’re unable to follow people it’s likely something else. Please try clearing your browser cache, or check if you’re able to follow sites if you use a different browser.
That said, we do have measures in place to prevent rapid bulk-following of sites. This is not about preventing bots, but about stopping people who follow large numbers of sites in a short period of time, usually with no intention of reading them, but simply to get follow-backs for their own site. We consider this type of behaviour spam, and your account will be temporarily blocked if you do this. Repeatedly hitting this block can result in it becoming permanent.
The Follow feature is intended to subscribe to a reasonable number of blogs so you’ll always see new posts from them in the WordPress.com Reader. You don’t need to follow someone to merely read a single post on their site.
