Got a domain renewal notice from wordpress.com, when i try to renew, your account doesnt exist, how to renew, as it is expiring(18/4/2026) today

  • Hello!

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your domain renewal, especially with it expiring today. We certainly want to help you get this resolved immediately.

If the system indicates the account doesn’t exist, it is likely that the domain is registered under a different email address than the one you are using to post here.

To help us investigate, please provide the following:

    • The Domain Name you are trying to renew.
    • The Email Address you believe is associated with the purchase (Note: your email will be automatically redacted so it is only visible to staff).

Note: Please do not post your Transaction ID or Invoice Number here, as this is a public forum.

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Check your inboxes: Look for the renewal notice email and confirm exactly which email address received it.
    2. Account Recovery: If you cannot access that account, please use our Account Recovery tool.

jewelbazar.com is trying to renew received notification at (email visible only to moderators and staff), I believe this email is only associated with this domain name,

or it could be from (email visible only to moderators and staff)(currently not in use)

If you received a renewal notice from WordPress.com by email, then log in to WordPress.com with that email address to renew the domain.

First log out of this account @tooa0d2e859ff36 entirely as it looks like you created it just before posting your question. Make sure that all open tabs on WordPress.com are closed.

After you’ve logged out entirely, head to the WordPress.com log in page and enter the email address where you received the renewal notice. If you don’t remember the password for that account, from that same login page, you can send yourself a Single Sign On or a password reset.

If you are still encountering an issue with this, you’ll need to go through the account recovery process as staff said.

Staff asked you not to post personal info on this public forum!

Just read the answer justjennifer gave you and act accordingly to get access to the account owning that domain which isn’t the current tooa0d2e859ff36 you are logged in to.

I would like to seek clarification regarding an issue with my account and domain access. As per the guidance provided by your team, I checked the email account that I previously used during the transfer from GoDaddy to WordPress. However, I am unable to find any associated account or domain details under this email.

This is concerning because I continue to receive renewal notifications for the domain on the same email address. When I attempt to log in using this email, the system indicates that the account does not exist. This situation appears inconsistent, and I am unable to understand how the domain is still linked to my email while the account cannot be accessed.

For your reference, I have already shared screenshots in my previous correspondence showing that I had received communications related to this domain on this email account.

I kindly request your assistance in:

    • Identifying the account associated with my domain
    • Recovering access to the domain or the original WordPress account (if registered under a different email)
    • Clarifying the discrepancy between renewal notifications and login access

Your prompt support in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hello!

Thank you for your patience while we looked into this further.

To clarify how this works: your WordPress.com account has an email address associated with it, and separately, a domain name registered through WordPress.com has its own contact information — including a contact email address. These two email addresses can be different.

When renewal reminders are sent, they go to the domain’s contact email address, which may not be the same email you use to log in to your WordPress.com account. This is likely why you received the renewal notice on one email but couldn’t find a matching WordPress.com account when trying to log in with it.

That said, after investigating on our end, we can see that jewelbazar.com has been transferred away from WordPress.com to GoDaddy, and the domain registration has been renewed for the next three years — so your domain is safe and active.

Since the domain is now managed by GoDaddy, you’ll need to log in to your GoDaddy account to manage and make any changes to it going forward. If you’re unsure which GoDaddy account holds the domain or are having trouble accessing it, GoDaddy’s support team will be able to help you locate it: https://www.godaddy.com/help

I hope that puts your mind at ease! Let us know if you have any other questions.
