I Got a Refund on My Domain Name- Now Want to Get it Back

    Hello,
    I applied for a refund on my site (including my domain and email) but hope to reinstate it. Is this possible?

    Hi there,

    One thing to be aware of is that there is a different (shorter) refund period for domains, so you did not receive a full refund, but instead a partial refund as shown here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/

    This turns out to be a nice bit of luck because your domain was easier for us to recover. You can see now that I have restored laowaibusiness.com to your account and you can see it here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

    On WordPress.com it is not possible to set your site to use a custom address unless you also have one of our plans active (the custom address option is included on all our plans) so if you wish to switch the address of your site from • laowaibusiness.wordpress.com to laowaibusiness.com you can do that by purchasing one of the plans you see listed here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
