I hate wordpress already

  I bought a domain safarisecrets.ca from go daddy and i tried to register for the premium $10/month package and it asked me for the name whatever I want to use. I entered safarisecrets.ca Now i have been assigned safarisecretsca.wordpress.com and this is not what I want.

  I want to link my godaddy domain to a word press site. How do I do this? I dont even thing the transaction went through.

  It seems your website was too much in a hurry to get me to a dashboard and give me the sense that I can start right away when it missed the most critical part: getting the domain name setup

  Please let me know how to do this

  oh wow… so that was not a contact us form where i would email support? Instead it comes here on a forum??

  Yes, these are the support forums for free sites.
  When you create a site on WordPress.com, you’ll always get a free subdomain, like your safarisecretsca.wordpress.com. When you upgrade to a paid plan, you’re also able to map your custom domain. Here you can read the full instructions:
