I have a domain name that I want to use and keep flexible.

  If I transfer my domain name to wordpress, am I still the owner with the ability to move to a different host if I choose?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hi @norsnyaolcom, you’ll be the domain owner so long as you don’t cancel ownership.

  You’ll want to be aware, though: when you transfer a domain anywhere, there’s a 60-day waiting period before it can be transferred again. You would still be able to change where the domain points if needed.
