I have a few database questions

    I have a few questions about how the databases work within WordPress. I am creating a membership site which allows users to just access a search box. Where they can type in a single part number, and it will come back with a match with a second part number, if there’s an entry in the database. So it’s a simple search function I just want to make sure WordPress is the best option for me. If you could give me a couple of websites, that may actually do what I’m trying to do as an example would be helpful.
