I have been trying to cancel my free trial of the WordPress Premium Upgrade.

  I have been trying to cancel my free trial of the WordPress Premium Upgrade prior to the beginning of the renewal process. I have followed all of the procedures to complete cancellation yet it continues to state “Upgrade not cancelled and refunded. There was a problem refunding your payment. Please contact support.” I would like to cancel the upgrade and be refunded any money that may have been charged. I have emails to prove that I have tried to cancel the upgrade prior to the start of the renewal process.

  Hi there,

  Sorry for the trouble! I voided the charge for WordPress.com Premium from our end, which will stop the transaction from going through so you won’t be charged.

  Since you registered the domain noirstrassenmagazine.com with that Premium plan, you have a couple options now:

  1. I can cancel that domain along with the Premium plan. Please keep in mind that canceling a domain means you give up ownership of that domain name. The domain name may not be released immediately, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to register it again in the future.

  2. I can leave the domain noirstrassenmagazine.com and cancel rest of the Premium plan, and send you a payment form for the cost of the domain alone ($26 for domain registration and private registration).

  Please let me know which you’d prefer and I can take care of that for you. :)

  Hello!
  Thank you so much for your quick response. I think given the recent activity on the page it would be best to keep the domain name noirstrassenmagazine.com and cancel the remainder of the premium at this time.
