I have paid for premium and it's not showing up in account settings.

On the 17th Feb 2014 I paid for premium package on blog bougainvillegovernment.wordpress.com which appeared on my creditcard as NOT LISTED AS IT’S FORCING ME TO POST THIS IN FORUMS?!?!?!

But it has not been applied to my account and does not show under billing history. So I cannot use a custom domain name. Please fix thanks

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • It appears that upgrade was purchased by a different WordPress.com user account than the one you are currently posting from. That would explain why you are not seeing the upgrade.

Could you have created a second WordPress.com account at some time in the past?

    Rootjosh,

This could be the case but doesn’t make a lot of sense. I thought the upgrade applied to that BLOG not the USER.

So how does that work with multiple users per blog, are we expected to pay $99 for each of them?

How do we transfer this $99 upgrade to a different USER.

When we logon to the blog, it still wants us to upgrade. What happens if we upgrade the blog twice?

I should be clearer. We upgraded for the custom domain support for this blog, but cannot access it with the main user we setup. How do we resolve this.

Do we issue a credit card credit back from the credit card company then buy it again under the correct user?

Sorry a third question. What happens if we delete the user that upgrade it tied to, where does the premium features go if it’s not attached to the blog.

  • I’m surprised that you are seeing a request to upgrade still. That is odd.

However, only the person who owns the upgrade can use the domain credit.

So, we have a couple options here. The upgrade can be refunded (assuming the the owner can log in to request it), or the upgrade can be transferred (again, the owner has to initiate that), or the owner can set up the domain.

Sorry for the hassle. But when it comes to domains, we have to be somewhat strict about things. Domains being valuable property in some/many cases these days, we don’t want confusion over who owns what.
