  I have a premium account, but it seems I can’t use the premium themes available? Why? I’m now using a free theme because I don’t want to pay another 99$…. I don’t understand.. :( Please help me.. I want to be able to change colour to the header-font and be able to choose which theme I want….and so on… I thought that was what I was paying 99$ for?

  Hi there,

  Sorry for the confusion! WordPress.com Premium does not include premium themes — it includes these upgraded features:

  • Domain Name & Mapping
  • Space Upgrade
  • No Ads
  • Custom Design
  • VideoPress

  If you’d like to use a premium theme, you’ll need to purchase that separately. You can also get access to all of the premium themes with the Unlimited Themes upgrade.

  However, you don’t need a premium theme to make the color change you mentioned — you can customize any theme you choose with the Custom Design features included in WordPress.com Premium.

  Hello again!

  Thank you for answer. It’s very unfortunate though.. :/ I think wordpress is confusing it’s customers unnecessary, when they call it premium themes…

  Anyway.. How do I change the color of the font? I have “The Book Lite Theme”. I’ve had another theme before, and had no problem with changing the color then… I’m going in to “Appearance” – “customize” , and then I get the menu on the top of my right.. I’ve tried “colors”, “Fonts” and everything else, but can only change the font-type :/

  Another question is.. How do I change the domain from “svinginngran.wordpress.com” into “svinginngran.com”? (I want to get rid of the word “wordpress”. It doesn’t matter if it’s com or org. :)

  The third and last question is: I have tried to find out how to get google.com to register my website, so that it appears when people google it, or any keywords on my site, but I can’t find out how…. Bah! :/

  Anyway.. How do I change the color of the font?

  Each theme can include somewhat different color controls in the Custom Colors section in the Customizer. If you’d like to change a color (like the font color) and there isn’t an option to change it under Colors, you can use Custom CSS to make that change.

  If you have CSS questions, most of our CSS support is done in the CSS Customization forum. You can post in that forum with the exact change you’d like to make, and the expert staff and volunteers there can help you find what you need to do that. :)

  Another question is.. How do I change the domain from “svinginngran.wordpress.com” into “svinginngran.com”?

  You can set that up on the Domains page. Since you have the Premium upgrade, you have credit to register a free domain for your site there.

  Your site is already listed in Google — for example, you can search for your site’s title “Svinginn Treningssenter Gran” or for the address “site:svinginngran.wordpress.com” to find it on Google. We have a guide to Search Engines with more details about that, if you’re interested.
