Hi there,
This is not spam, but a scam.
It looks like you had the domain, landlordsparalegal.com, registered with GoDaddy.com at some point. I’m going to guess you chose to not pay extra for private registration with them, meaning your email address, along with other contact information, was exposed in the public Whois database for as long as you owned that domain.
There are people who scrape email addresses for domains from that public Whois database, and then send domain owners these emails trying to get them to pay for a service that doesn’t exist – there is no such thing as search engine registration for domains.
Just ignore the email.
Also note there’s nothing we can do about this. To start with, you did not have landlordsparalegal.com registered with us. You had it registered with GoDaddy.com. And besides that, whoever sent you this email already has your email address, and there’s no way anyone can take that information away from them so they no longer have it.
If you really wanted to, you could look at the email headers and try to figure out who their email and internet service provider is, and then report them directly there for sending spam and fraudulent emails, but the people who run these scams are generally good at covering their tracks, so even if you knew what to look for you likely won’t be able to get very far.
