I have some WordPress php files that i have been given to keep editing a website but I can’t upload them anywhere so that I can edit it.

  I was given a zip file full of wp-admin, wp-content, and a bunch of php files as well as a zip.gz database file and it doesn’t seem like I can use these files to put the website back into WordPress so that I can keep editing it.

  Hi,

  Just to be clear, are you looking to set up that site here on WordPress.com? Or to set up a WordPress site, but hosted with another webhost?
