I have two blogs, do I have to use the same display name for both?

  I have two blogs, do I have to use the same display name for both? One of my blogs is public (to friends and family) and one I would prefer that I write anonymously in regard to my friends and family. Is there any way to do that? My username is still displayed.

  Here are both of my blogs:

  http://middleearthmommy.wordpress.com

  The first blog is my public blog. Thanks!!

  PS – I am new to blogging, so I am sorry if this is a silly question.

  Hi there!

  If you’d like to run a separate anonymous blog, you’ll need to create a separate WordPress.com account so that it doesn’t link to the same profile.

  You can do this by logging out of your current WordPress.com account and visiting here:

  https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?user=1

  Once you’ve created a new user, head back to this account and let me know which site you’d like me to move the new account. :)
