  I have two blogs with the same name (Taking Liberties). The first blog was my first attempt at blogging. I wrote it under “libertarianjoe.wordpress”. As I became more familiar with WordPress I changed my url to “joeilling.wordpress” and moved my “taking liberties” blog to that address. I did not delete my first “taking liberties” blog, however, as I feared losing its content and theme. Then I took the unfortunate step of eliminating my first url (libertarianjoe.wordpress), without deleting my first “takingliberties” blog (displayed as a new blog with generic photos and no content). Now I want to eliminate that first “takingliberties” blog and keep the second (for which I paid a domain registration fee) … but I no longer have administrative privileges to do so (because I eliminated the url, I imagine). Can you help? What am I to do to delete the first “takingliberties” blog (the one with no content)?

  joeilling has never been a user on the blog http://takingliberties.wordpress.com/

  That blog was registered in 2007 by the user takingliberties.

  You’re right. My confusion. Sorry. I registered my as “takinglibertiesblog.com” and am still trying to learn how to use/navigate/etc. wordpress.
