    Hi there,

These two domains are actually owned by a different WordPress.com user on your blog. I’d be happy to help you manage them, but I will need that user to confirm that they would like to cancel the crossfitpflugerville.com domain.

If you aren’t sure what WordPress.com account owns the domain, you can check the list of users on your blog under Users > All Users in the dashboard. You can have the other user log in and leave a comment on this forum thread to confirm the request.

Please note that domain renewals are non-refundable and cancelling your domain means that you completely give up ownership of it. Please do not cancel the domain if you think you might want to use it again in the future.

If you have any questions about this, please let me know!

    Rachel,

The two accounts are the same person (ie. Me). If I log in as the crossfitpflugerville account and send this will it kill my blog altogether.

The summary on this is that I’m changing the name of my company, the majority of the blog content will be the same. I just don’t want to start over completely.

    Rachel,

I want to make sure that the blog history, etc. does not get deleted, etc. All that needs to happen is to have the Crossfitpflugerville.com domain name go away.

please confirm that after it is abandoned, users, customers, etc. will still be able to view the website under the pflugervillesc.com domain name.

If it makes it easier, we could transfer the ownership/etc. of crossfitpflugerville.com to the pflugervillesc.com, then it could be cancelled from pflugervillesc

Thanks for confirming your request. I want to assure you that any changes to your custom domain name are separate from your blog itself. Cancelling the domain crossfitpflugerville.com only means that visitors will not be able to reach your website by using that web address. It doesn’t change any of the history or content on your site or your other domain name.

I went ahead and removed that domain for you. Visitors can still view the website at pflugervillesc.com. Let me know if you have any questions about that!

The blog and your domain pflugervillesc.com are still owned by your crossfitpflugerville account. If you’d like, I can transfer ownership of the blog and/or the domain to your pflugervillesc account so you have full control from that account. Please just reply from crossfitpflugerville to confirm if you want me to make that change for you. :)

Yes, let’s transfer everything to the pflugervillesc account.

    Thanks for all the help

Thanks for confirming! I transferred everything (the blog and the domain) over to your pflugervillesc account, so you should be all set.

Please let me know if I can help with anything else.
