I have two sites and the options are totally different.

I have a blog site with you and I was able to add my own domain, upload my own themes for free. I created a new site and now I cannot do any of that without having a paid plan? Why is this? This is very frustrating. Why can’t I have the same free options as my original site on my new site?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

tessashealthspot.com is hosted by HostGator. I doubt you get that site/domain for free.
Here at WordPress.com there are completely free sites available that end in .wordpress.com although you are limited in the choice of themes. Upgraded WordPress.com plans/domains do need to be paid for.

I pay for my domain. What I am saying is on my tessashealthspot I was able to map my domain for free, I am able to upload my own themes. When I tried to set up another website I cannot map a domain or upload a theme without having a paid plan. I was able to do all of that for my first one. Why can’t I do it for a 2nd one?

You’re currently logged in to an account at WordPress.com. HostGator and WordPress.com are two totally different places with different plans/prices/ways of doing things.

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org
