I inserted a link to another blog in my post. Somehow my blog post showed up as a comment on their b

  I wanted to provide a link for people to see a post on someone’s blog. Later, I clicked on the link to make sure it was working and discovered to my dismay that a link to my blog showed up on their site as a comment (that was not my intent). I don’t know what I did wrong or how to fix it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That’s a pingback. An administrator may delete it, or it may be left in the comments as a link.

  The Pingbacks support page says,

  You can easily disable pingbacks on individual posts via the Discussion module on your Add New or Edit Post page…

  The discussion module appears by default below the post or page editor window. You can also selectively disable pings to posts with the Quick Edit options in your posts list at Posts > All Posts.
