I keep getting emails saying they are coming from Word Press asking me to moderate Post 001

  I keep getting emails saying they are coming from Word Press asking me to moderate Post 001. In the body of the email are links to porno sites. I’m presuming they are not from Word Press. On my website, post 001 is my own post. I have not finished setting up my page and it is just a dummy post.

  Hi there,

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

  Are the emails coming from a @wordpress.com address, or from a wordpress@ email address? If the latter, it’s not coming from us, but directly from a stand-alone installation of WordPress at another hosting provider.

  If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.
