I lost my username because of duplicate

    Hi, I own the username: lonchbox since my first WP registration. after I sync my profile with my google account I got two. Today I try to eliminate one to just have one of them. Before that I rename the correct one to lonchbox3, to then change lonchboxXXX (was with numbers an letters) to lonchbox2. Till that everything was ok. But then I can´t re-rename lonchbox2 to lonchbox, still says that my username is taken.

    What I´m trying is not to loose my gravatar username, that now it change to lonchbox2 :(

    Please help!

    Important: You will not be able to change your username back. The old name will be reserved and no one will have access to it. URLs for other services such as Gravatar may be affected.

    Usernames are not transferrable from one account to another, and once you change your name you cannot get the old one back, and this is something that staff cannot help with. You are welcome to use any other name beside lonchbox2 but I’m afraid there is no way to get lonchbox back at this point since you have already switched away from it.
