I made a mistake setting up a domain
-
I thought I was setting up a new domain: dragflystudio.com and didn’t realize I was connecting it to another domain that I did not renew. I don’t want the two connected, how can I correct this? I paid the $26.00 so I don’t want to just cancel it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I can help you with that. Where do you want dragflystudio.com to point to? Do you want it pointing at one of your existing WordPress.com sites? To replace the expired URL? Or to a completely new WordPress.com site?
-
-
Have you created the new site yet? If not, please do so. Once it is created, I can move the domain over to it.
-
I thought I had set up the site, it was just attached to the greenfieldartsandevents, site. I don’t think I will be able to use the same url if I create a new one will I? I will set up another site, and try to call it drgnflystudio.com
-
I can’t seem to find the place to start a new one. I can only access the store from the blogs I already have. That’s what caused my problem in the first place.

Log into your WordPress.com account and then go here:

ok I set up one for drgnfly.wordpress.com I have already paid the $26 for the dragfly.com can the money be transferred to this one so I can leave off the wordpress?
-
Can you delete the above comment? I forgot I made this public. Probably shouldn’t have posted that info.
-
I think I got it fixed by cancelling the greenfieldartsandevent.
Please let me know if you can either delete the order info I posted, or make this private.

I do not see a site when I view http://drgnfly.wordpress.com
Are you sure that you completed the setup process?
-
i thought i did but i think i got it fixed by cancelling the one that was tied to dragfly.com when i type in the url it takes me to the site and i can make changes to it.

Okay, is pointing to http://greenfieldartsandevents.wordpress.com/ is that what you are trying to do? It is not pointing to http://drgnfly.wordpress.com (which has not been created).
-
no, I don’t want it pointing to greenfieldartsandevents.wordpress.com let me try again with the drgnfly site.
-
now I cant seem to view any of my sites. I am so frustrated!!!! All I wanted to do was start a new blog site.
-
OK, it seems the sites are much more difficult to navigate now, but I think I have deleted all the Creative Arts And Event centers, and I can see both dragflystudio.com and drgnflystudio.wordpress.com If I can have a preference, I would prefer to have the drgnflystudio.com url rather than dragflystudio.com but since I have already paid for the dragfly site if I have to keep that hopefully it will work. I didn’t think of trying the drgn instead of drag when I set it up. After I set it up, the thought crossed my mind that drag might mean something different to some people than drgn.

If you want to register drgnflystudio.com, I can refund your payment for dragflystudio.com. But please make sure that drgnflystudio.com is available to register before you ask me to cancel and refund the other. Once canceled, domains are difficult to get back.
