    I mapped personal domain name from namecheap to my WP site. I’m not sure if I did it correctly I followed mapping instructions, however i am connected to a C panel Linux system. The diagnostic tool says i’m not connected.

    When you say “my WP site” can you explain which site exactly, with a direct link? http://alleyzkat.wordpress.com/ does not have a Cpanel; it sounds like you’re talking about a WordPress.ORG site instead.

    I downloaded Word press through my c/panel quick down loader. I received an open ” WordPress here”. and I clicked on it, and built my site. I have a bookmark for WP when I click on it, it takes me to : http://wordpress.com/#!/my-blogs/ where a list of my blogs appears. I only have one at this time when i click on this it takes me to my site at: alleyzkat.wordpress.com. I I mapped it for alleyzkat.com my name cheap domain which is connected to my c/panel . When I use alleyzkat.com it takes me to an initial site I was working on that I deleted through WP, but not to the current site at alleyzkat.wordpress.com. When i try to log into the back end of the alleyzkat.com through my home page I receive an error message that the link has been broken.

    No cPannel – can’t do that here – your name servers are pointing to a dead end site for reporting abuse not WordPress.COM – no domain mapping for your domain name

    You are probably in the wrong forum

    The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.
