I need help! Email changes aren't sticking and old one is about to expire!

Isn’t there any actual support on this site??? I have been at this for two days, and the only support option seems to be this forum! I have searched through back posts and only find a bunch of people with the same problem, NONE of whom ever received help!
My old email address is about to expire. I am trying to change the email address to my new one, but although the confirmation email is sent to my new address, the change is STILL pending! I still have to sign in with my old email address! This is driving me nuts and the total lack of support staff is giving me an aneurysm! I must be all kinds of stupid, because I can’t even figure out how to make a post under the Staff heading of this forum. The only way I can make THIS post is by going through their stupid “contact support” page. They have no phone support, no online support, no email contact…no support at all except to fling my question out into deadspace and watch it not get answered! All I want to do is change my stupid email address! The new one is not associated with another wordpress account; I have no other wordpress accounts. At this point, I can’t believe I still have this one!
