I need help sorting out my accounts

    Hi there,

    I made a blog a couple of years ago – the one that is linked – that I no longer want. I have a bluehost domain http://www.zivanaart.com that I have used wordpress to build a website to sell my art. I am trying to install paypal by braintree to woocommerce and it is asking me to link my wordpress account to it. I can only log into the blog that I made a wordpress account for in the past. I assumed I had another account where I made my website but the username doesn’t seem to exist so I am really confused. Would I have made another wordpress account to create my website? Or is that bluehost? I can log onto my website through the bluehost cpanel but do I have a wordpress account for it?

    Sorry, I am just very confused obviously.

    I’m not clear which account/site you’re speaking of.

    You are posting here as zivanapaulinggmailcom. This WordPress.com username account was created two years ago and owns only one site, zivanap.wordpress.com, a free WordPress.com site that appears to be inactive.

    The other site you mention, http://www.zivanaart.com, is a self-hosted site using the open source WordPress software and hosted on Bluehost’s servers. That site is not connected to any WordPress.com account – the only way to do that would be via the Jetpack plugin, and you don’t appear to have that plugin installed on this site.

    Your WordPress.com login details won’t work on that site, as self-hosted WordPress sites each have their own unique login credentials stored in the sites database on your host’s servers itself. Those login credentials are generated when you install the WordPress software at your hosting provider, and your site sends that to you via email.
