  How do I make the Flickr and “status update” boxes go away? It’s so confusing

  We can’t help without a link to the blog you are talking about, and the site linked to your username is not a wordpress.COM blog. And this blog, http://tombakerphotography.wordpress.com/ , is using a theme without a custom header option.

  @Richard: That’s the blog he was talking about; he switched to DePo Masthead, but he was using DePo Square before that, and wanted to know how to get rid of the default “sidebar” [*] items. Apparently he couldn’t wait for the answer to that.

  (* How do we call that thing in DePo Square that serves as a sidebar of sorts? Headerbar? Topbar? Crippled bar?)
