I need to change a now defunct email address linked to an account – can’t log in

    Hi, an ex-colleague set up a wordpress account with a work email address. They have since left the company (and that email account has been deleted) and I need to gain access to the wordpress account to update the page. How can I update the email address without being able to login? Help! Have tried the assist recovery form but I don’t have the verification codes etc needed to prove identity.

    If you do not have access to the registered email, and do not have any of the verifiable account recovery information, I’m afraid that there is no way to gain access to the account.

    Are you SURE there is no way to regain access to that email address?
