The person who was previously in charge of our website has moved on for her position, and her card is no longer active, but I dont’ want any interruption in our website services. How can i ensure that my card gets on our subscription?

The current owner of the domain will have to transfer ownership of the domain to your account. Then you’ll be able to renew it.
Please ask them to follow the steps here:

Once they’ve transferred the domain, they can then transfer ownership of the site itself. This will transfer the premium plan and themes to you as well, and remove that person’s account as an admin on the site.
