I need to close an account that I do not have access to

  Hi,
  I have another account that I would like to close with a blog that is published that I need to have un-published. I do have my user name, but don’t have any other information for the account. I do not think that could be correct since I have been using the same email for years, but the recovery email does not go to any of my email addresses. I can verify through the blog that the account is mine. I don’t see a support number or way to chat around this. Could someone please give me a number to call or a way to get that other account removed?

  Hi there,

  Can you please give us the address of the site or the username of the account so we can take a look?

  Only someone logged into an account can close it, and only someone logged in as an admin on a site can delete it. We cannot take these actions on your behalf under any circumstances, and definitely not if the request comes from a completely different account.

  If you’re not able to verify your ownership of the account via that form, then we cannot give you access to the account.
