I need to delete any connections I have with wordpress

    I had a website that I have been trying to set up for 2 months now. I found a way to do it the way I want it but I cant delete my old information. Can you unmap https://designvibesunlimited.com from word press and let me try again. I know it isnt working properly because my profile picture and all is showing up when I try to install from A2 hosting. and I get an error message that https://designvibesunlimited.com is already created in wordpress. I have deleted all domains and old websites but I think I am still mapped to wordpress. Please help. I am beyond frustrated

    According to https://who.is/whois/designvibesunlimited.com your domain is registered by GoDaddy and your site is hosted here on the wordpress.com platform. Are you saying you are trying to set up your site on A2 Hosting? Then you’ll have to change the nameservers and make them pointing to A2 Hosting.

    If you want to keep your site on our dedicated wordpress.com platform, you need a paid plan together with a domain connection or you can transfer your domain over here. Personally I find the last solution the best as hosting and domain are on the same platform.

    Your domain is no longer connected to WordPress.com, so you’re on the right track. However, the reason you’re still encountering issues is that the domain’s DNS records are still pointing to WordPress.com. This is why your site appears as if it’s still connected to our platform.

    To resolve this, you’ll need to log in to your domain registrar’s control panel – in your case, it seems to be GoDaddy. Once you’re there, you should update the DNS records to point to your new hosting provider, A2 Hosting.
