I need to immediately delete a media file linked in post!!!!!!!!

    Dear Support,

    In a post i created and emailed out I accidentally uploaded the wrong file. I quickly went back and deleted the file but when I click on the post via email, the email still sends them to a file that is no longer in my media library!!! The file is sensitive and should not be out there to the people on my websites email list!! Please help I need to delete the link, post file IMMEDIATELY. I cannot wait days for a cached page to do down. Can you please help with this?????

    Please I only was recently been given admin rights, the site was already created when i started working on it and that person has long since left my company. I cannot do nor would i know where to edit html code as I do all my editing via the wordpress dashboard. PLEASE HELP.

    If you have deleted the item from the medial library, nobody should be able to see it. They should get an error message. If you really have deleted it, and are still seeing it, you may be viewing a locally cached version on your own browser.
