  I initiated this process about 12 hours ago, I am still shown: We are still in the process of removing one or more of your sites. This process normally takes 15-20 minutes. Once removal is completed, you should be able to close your account from this page.

  Hi there!

  Please try following the steps here again to close your WordPress.com account. One of your sites with the Business plan had some active features that needed to be reverted, which prevented the account closure.
