I need to redirect my website

  Hi I created a provisional blog at https://nextexitshortfilm.wordpress.com/ while a graphic designer I hired worked on a website. Now the website is working but I need to redirect all traffic from the existing blog to the new website. I tried buying the site redirect upgrade but when I click the link nothing happens. What can I do ?

  I understand.

  So, what you need isn’t the Site Redirect upgrade. That is more for people looking to point their WordPress.com site traffic to a new site elsewhere.

  I suspect that what you want to do is set up Domain Mapping for nextexit-shortfilm.com using these instructions:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Hi rootjosh

  What I want is That when people type the wordpress Address the nextexit-shortfilm.com website opens. ( so i want my wordpress traffic to go to the new site else where)

  But Also when You type the nextexit-short film.com You go to That site. Not the word press. So i want to point them to this new website. Do i need to map or redirect ?

  Ah, okay. My apologies. I misread your last post.

  So yes, you need the Site Redirect upgrade.

  Can you try logging in with another browser and seeing if that makes a difference when you go to purchase it?

  Okay, I suspect the issue is that the account you are posting from is not the owner or administrator for http://nextexitshortfilm.wordpress.com/.

  You will need to log into an administrator account (and ideally the owner’s account) in order to purchase upgrades.
